
Aircraft Engineering Project Manager

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join a pioneering, long-term aircraft development program with a world-class OEM in the aerospace industry. You will be at the forefront of innovation, supporting the continued development of innovative aircraft systems and component technologies. Surrounded by a passionate and collaborative team, you will help shape the next aircraft generation.
Tasks:
• Managing projects at department level to achieve objectives while ensuring compliance with internal and certification processes
• Planning and budgeting projects to support timely and structured project execution
• Coordinating interdisciplinary stakeholders within the assigned scope to ensure alignment and progress
• Providing cross-functional engineering support to project stakeholders based on technical expertise
• Supporting supplier management in both programmatic and technical matters related to the projects
• Producing engineering, requirements and certification documentation including requirements capture/validation/verification and aircraft-level certification submissions
Minimum requirements
- Master's degree and 10+ years in the military aircraft industry
- Avionics and Project Management skills and experience
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, demonstrating a solid track record in managing small to medium-sized groups and complex engineering projects
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Proficiency in English at a C1 level
- Great soft skills, like communication, coordination, and the capacity to carry out conflict management.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, showing strong self-management, solution-oriented thinking and the ability to perform under tight deadlines
- Exercising strong lateral leadership and effective teamwork in a multicultural engineering environment
- Eligible to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA Citizenship or valid Swiss work permit)
