We are currently seeking an experienced Test Engineer in Avionics & Instrumentation to join a pioneering, long-term aircraft development program with a world-class OEM in the aerospace industry. This role is based in one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking regions, offering an exceptional quality of life.

🔑 Responsibilities:
Avionics Rig Integration & Testing (70%)
- Design custom solutions for rig hardware
- Install & troubleshoot avionics LRUs & wiring
- Maintain tight configuration control
- Establish data acquisition system (DAS)
- Plan & perform rig tests – “hands-on!”
- Documentation and analysis of test results
- Collaborate closely within testing team
- Coordinate with A/C system engineers, as well as technicians
Support of other «Iron Bird» activities: 30%
- Auxiliary power system
- Wiring
- Signal switching
Minimum requirements
🧩 What You Bring
- 10+ years of proven experience in aerospace engineering
- Broad skillset in electrical engineering (e.g. measurement technology, data busses, EMC, PCB design)
- Proven experience in avionics test
- Self-propelled, autonomous and solution-oriented
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Commitment to projects and team
- Professional proficiency in English
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work permit required)
